Föreningssparbanken Metal Clip & Medal, Promotional Item

Description

About the Object: This promotional item from Föreningssparbanken consists of a larger metal clip and a smaller round medal. Both display the bank's distinct symbolism. The clip features two fasteners, a small cord, and a round plate with an embossed motif. The medal is a miniature version of the same theme.

Details & Design: The larger metal clip is made from a copper- or bronze-like material with a dark patinated surface. The motif on its round section depicts a tree surrounded by the text 'FÖRENINGSSPARBANKEN' and three sheaves of grain below. The smaller medal is made of the same material and features the text 'SPARBANKEN' with a tree motif. Both pieces show detailed embossing. The item is delivered in a simple, ribbed corrugated cardboard package, which protects the contents and preserves its originality.

Condition & Patina: The item is well-preserved with an age-appropriate patina on the metal, resulting in a deep, tactile surface. Minor surface wear is present, consistent with its age and use. The corrugated cardboard packaging is intact but shows slight signs of handling, as expected for a period promotional item.
