Description

This charming set consists of two decorative ceramic items in ancient style, perfect for history enthusiasts or as a unique interior detail. The set includes a larger krater with handles and a smaller amphora, both with detailed hand-painted patterns.
  • Krater: The larger vessel is adorned with a winged figure, likely a sphinx or siren, surrounded by geometric patterns in shades of black, brown, red, and beige. On the underside, there is a stamp indicating "Circa 800-" and "Conictra" (partially illegible), suggesting it is a reproduction of an item from that period. It measures approximately 11-12 cm in diameter at the opening.
  • Amphora: The smaller miniature amphora is adorned with stylized figures and heart-shaped patterns. On the underside, there is a handwritten note confirming it is a "museum copy" and stating "Cyprus", along with an inventory number "Nr 564". It is approximately 5-6 cm high.
Both items are made of terracotta or similar ceramic material with a dark interior, giving them an authentic feel. They are in good vintage condition with some age-related wear and some fading of the markings on the underside, which adds to their character. An excellent collector's item or a conversation starter for the home.
